PEGUIS HEALTH SERVICES 204-645-2169 EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY: One full time Registered Nurse Peguis Public Health program is seeking a full time Registered Nurse immediately to work in the Public Health Program managing the Mandatory programs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Responsible for delivery of Mandatory Health Programs, Immunizations Communicable diseases, Well Baby Clinics, School Health, Liaison with Home & Community Care, Home Visits and Referrals. -Provide direct assistance to clients in clinic, including medications, supplies and other health related issues. -Collaborates with individuals, families, groups and community to identify potential health risks and make choices of appropriate health management strategies (ie. Health surveillance programs, communicable disease control, Immunizations and screening for diseases) -Advocate for individuals, as may be required. QUALIFICATIONS: -Current MARN registration. -Knowledgeable and understanding of the First Nation Health Services and the health of First Nation Community. -The ability to function as a part of an interdisciplinary health service team. -Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills, time management skills and organizational skills. -Must have valid Class 5 Drivers License and Vehicle.
